Abstract
New experiments to determine the parameters of neutron resonances (the reso nance area sigma(0)Gamma(f) and the resonance width Gamma(f)) in the neutro n-energy range E similar to 3-60 eV and fission cross sections sigma(f)(E) at energies E similar to 3-1000 eV have been performed at an IBR-30 pulsed booster by using the time-of-night technique. The measurements have been im plemented with an ionization chamber containing a record amount (1.5 g) of high-purity Np-237. The accuracy of data published earlier has been improve d.
