Abstract
Low cost connectors have been realized by simplifying their structure. Pre-assembled ferrules have been developed for automatic connector as sembly and alternative ferrules have been proposed. io achieve high de nsity connection, ferrule diameter have been minimized and, in additio n, a new connector without ferrules has been reported.
