Sorptive properties and degree of dispersion of palladium catalysts obtained by gel-gel method

There are presented results of studies on the chemisorption of hydrogen on Pd/SiO2 catalysts, obtained by the gel-gel and by the impregnation methods and results of roentgenographic examination of those catalysts, If compared to catalyst produced by the impregnation method the gel-gel produced catal yst characterizes lower hydrogen chemisorption capacity, caused by penetrat ion of palladium into the internal structure of catalyst support.
