f research done by sociologists and political scientists in the above field
. Issues are indicated which need a particular attention of scholars: myth
of indivisibility of politics and governance, typology of governing activit
ies, bureaucratic quasipolitics, legal and extra-legal interaction between
interest group and bureaucracies. A hypothesis is formulated regarding the
social and political interest group attitude to power and government appara
tus of contemporary Russia. The importance of studying links of varying ver
sions of "new ideology" with differing levels of bureaucracies in the capit
al and in the regions is emphasized.
