Abstract
The aim of this work was to explain the very rapid cladding rupture occurin g by iodine-induced Stress Corrosion Cracking, by means of a study of param eters specific to Pellet-Cladding Interaction loadings in Pressurized-Water Reactors (neutron irradiation and recoil implantation).
