We describe a parallel processing code for solving the Landau-Vlasov equati
on with a collision term of Nordheim type. This equation is commonly used f
or simulations of heavy-ion collision dynamics. The code, which is written
in FORTRAN'90 and uses the routines SHMEM of the GRAY T3E machine, can be e
asily implemented by means of the libraries of "message passing" type as MP
I, and is therefore also well suited for running on a cluster of workstatio
ns. The code has a good speedup especially when using a large number of tes
t-particles. It allows a full treatment of the collision term and opens a n
ew chance for taking into account the dynamical effects on the equation of
