Abstract
Low-temperature (100 K) x-ray diffraction studies and ab initio calcul ations show significant localization of the pi-electron structure in 2 ,4,6-trimethoxy-s-triazine. Possible rationalizations for this observa tion are discussed. (C) 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
