Abstract
Possible conflicts of interest appear to be increasing in social science, m edical, and legal scholarship. This article uses a care study of an alleged conflict of interest in regard:to the privatization of prisons to call att ention to what may be a need for criminalogists and their profession journa ls to try to deal in an such conflicts.
