Polyferroorganosiloxanes were studied as catalysts for homogeneous oxi
dation of alkanes by hydrogen peroxide under mild conditions. In the o
xidation of cyclohexane the catalysts are characterized by high effici
ency (conversion of hydrogen peroxide is 25%) and stability (up to 80
cycles per g-at. Fe). The main product of the oxidation in the presenc
e of 2,4,6-tri-tert-butylphenol is cyclohexanol (up to 35% per H2O2).
