Abstract
Wave velocities and elastic moduli of B2O3 alkali oxide glasses have been o btained by a Brillouin scattering experiment. These concentration dependenc es increase with increasing alkali concentration Temperature dependence of the phonon frequency for B2O3-K2O glasses showed an obvious change at their glass transition temperature.
