Abstract
This paper presents a methodology for the synthesis of a snitched device-ba sed controlled sinusoidal voltage source. The sliding mode control leads to a robust behavior against load variations. The ellipsoidal switching surfa ce allows a faster (time suboptimal) tracking of the sinusoidal reference u nder amplitude and/or frequency reference changes. Finite switching frequen cy effects are compensated for.
