Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of medium energy target protons emitted in S-32-AgBr interactions at 200 AGeV and O-16-AgBr interactions at 60 AGeV in terms of scaled factorial moments up to the fifth order. The study gives e vidence of a nonthermal phase transition in the S-32-AgBr data. The multifr actal nature of the particle spectra has also been observed using a new met hod proposed by F. Takagi.
