A consensus list of I I categories of secondary special education outc ome measures and four environmental settings derived from the literatu re teas proposed as a conceptual framework. One hundred eighty-one int ervention studies that were conducted in integrated settings and imple mented on the individual student level (vs. program, organizational, o r community level) were analyzed, resulting in 268 different student o utcome measures that corresponded to the categories comprising the con ceptual framework. In addition, studies were analyzed to identify (a) trends in publication, (b) participant characteristics, (c) method of assessment, (d) psychometric properties of measures, (e) type of inves tigation, (f) frequency of outcome measures, and (g) environmental set tings. Based upon findings, implications for policy, practice, and res earch are discussed.
