Abstract
Two series of Reduced Activation Ferrous alloys (RAF) have been produced an d studied by Casaccia's Laboratories. These martensitic alloys are named BA TMAN steels. They are among the few presently developed RAF materials to ex ploit Ti as a carbide forming and grain size stabilizing element instead of Ta, In this work their mechanical properties are illustrated.
