Abstract
This paper presents experimental optical density spectra in the range 0.25- 3.0 mu m for the retina with the pigmented epithelium, the vascular tunic, and the sclera both in the moist state and in the dehydrated state, along w ith the absorption coefficients of replacements of the aqueous humor: perfl uorodecalin, tributyl ethylamine, and heavy silicone. The paper discusses f eatures of the action of laser radiation of various wavelengths on the opti cal media and tissues of the eye during surgical interventions.
