Abstract
This report describes a German shepherd dog that was presented with proport ionate dwarfism and coat changes typical of hypopituitarism but that was al so profoundly polydipsic and polyuric. investigations established a diagnos is of concurrent central diabetes insipidus. Treatment with desmopressin wa s successful in managing the polyuria and polydipsia.
