Abstract
The reproductive cycle of Scincus mitranus was examined using specimen s obtained from the slopes of sand dunes around Riyadh. The reproducti ve season was in May and June. Young lizards were observed in late Sep tember, suggesting the presence of only one clutch during the reproduc tive season. Data on seasonal cycles in testes, ovaries and fat bodies are given.
