Changes in the veterinary work resulting from animal welfare regulations

The authors analyse the effects of animal welfare regulations already in fo rce (act, 3 governmental decrees, 4 ministerial decrees) on the veterinary work. In their opinion these regulations have brought important changes, Th e relationship between the veterinarian, animal and owner and between the o wner and animal has changed. The obligations of the owner to animal push in to the background the preceding priority of economical views in the keeping and treating of animals. The veterinary profession has certain limits and new obligations have emerged in other fields.
