Abstract
Extensions of various relations of statistical geometry previously derived for single component hard sphere systems are extended to multicomponent sys tems with both additive and nonadditive hard cores. These results are valid for both fluid and crystalline states. The results presented enable the co ncepts of statistical geometry to be applied to hard sphere mixtures and ma y prove useful in furthering our understanding of the complicated phase beh aviours exhibited by such systems.
