Abstract
Relations are proposed to analyse the density data of CaO-SiO2, Na2O-Cao-Si O2 and K2O-CaO-SiO2 glasses. It has been deduced that the volume of any of the structural units is constant and depends neither on the composition nor the type of glass. The volumes obtained are mostly the same found in the c orresponding binary silicate glasses.
