Abstract
A rare naturally-occurring C-14 carboxylate eudesmanolide, named flammolide , has been isolated from the petroleum ether-MeOH-Et2O, (1:1:1; v/v/v) extr act of Senecio flammeus. The structure was determined on the basis of spect ral analysis, including 2D-NMR techniques.
