Abstract
A model investigation approves the practicability of and determines the nec essary and sufficient conditions for the effective cathodic protection of t he internal surface of weld joints in enameled pipes. Annular galvanic anod es for this purpose represent the belts of gas-thermal aluminum spray coati ng which are applied by the manufacturer upon the enameling of the pipes an d are able to withstand welding.
