Abstract
The reduction of gamma-N-hydroxylamino-alpha,beta-acetylenic esters bearing a methoxy-substituted benzyl group on the nitrogen atom by zinc in a MeOH/ AcOH mixture leads stereoselectively to Z-gamma-amino-alpha,beta-ethylenic esters.
