Economical judgment of animal production systems

Acceptability of production systems in animal husbandry is largely influenc ed by their effects on animal welfare and environment. The effects can more and mon successfully be judged by using quantifiable criteria as, last but not least, the economic ones which enable production processes to be analy sed and compared.
