Abstract
The induction of a complete conduction block of the isthmus between inferio r vena cava and tricuspid annulus is considered the best predictor for lack of arrhythmia recurrence if radiofrequency catheter ablation for typical a trial flutter is performed. We evaluated a simplified algorithm to determin e complete isthmus block that, in our series, had a predictive accuracy of 100% when compared with the gold standard.
