J. Nolte, Minimizing spectral interferences with an array ICP emission spectrometer using different strategies for signal evaluation, ATOM SPECT, 20(3), 1999, pp. 103-107
Five signal evaluation strategies to minimize the impact of spectral interf
erences were compared in cases where partial overlap exists: parabolic fit
calculation of peak maximum, on-peak measurement, matrix matching, interele
ment correction, and a chemometric technique (Multi-component Spectral Fitt
ing). The latter technique gave best results with respect to accuracy, repr
oducibility, and detection limits.
