Abstract
Five signal evaluation strategies to minimize the impact of spectral interf erences were compared in cases where partial overlap exists: parabolic fit calculation of peak maximum, on-peak measurement, matrix matching, interele ment correction, and a chemometric technique (Multi-component Spectral Fitt ing). The latter technique gave best results with respect to accuracy, repr oducibility, and detection limits.
