Abstract
Chrysotus polleti sp. n. is described from the sea coast of Bulgaria. It is remarkable in that both sexes have a special frontal organ and the supra-a pical arista. The new species differs from all known Palaearctic Chrysotus species by the yellow antenna and the silvery area, on the male middle tibi a. Some morphological characters of the tribus Diaphorini are discussed in the appendix.
