Abstract
A dematiaceous hyphomycete, Diplacoccium hughesii C.J.K. Wang & B. Sutton s p.nov., with a Selenosporella is described. It is characterized by dark, br anched conidiophores bearing integrated, terminal, and intercalary cells. P ores are visible on the wall of the conidiogenous cells after conidium sece ssion. Catenate conidia are subglobose to oblong, and O-septate.
