Abstract
The kinetic and catalytic aspects involved in the hydrogen peroxide product ion via anthraquinone (method all-tetra) have been examined considering thr ee of the four main production steps, i.e., hydrogenation of 2-ethyltetrahy droanthraquinone catalyzed by palladium-supported catalysts, oxidation of t he product obtained in the first step, and reconversion of the deteriorated molecules for the regeneration of active quinones. For each reaction, cons idered, a mechanism and a kinetic law are suggested with the numerical valu es of the related parameters. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights res erved.
