Abstract
The limits of shock-initiated explosion and the states along Hugoniots are measured for liquid 1,6-diazido-2-acetoxyhexane and bisfluorodinitroethylfo rmal. The possibility of calculating the explosion limits using the kinetic parameters gained by studies on thermal decomposition of these classes of compounds in gas phase is demonstrated.
