Abstract
Elastic and sticky polymer gel electrolytes were prepared by polymerisation of methacrylate resin to which solutions, containing LiBF4 and [(C2H5)(4)N ]BF4 in various ratios in PC, were added, keeping the ionic strength consta nt. A concentration cell containing two polymer samples and two equal LiHgx electrodes was used for the estimation of reversible potential. At RT, the ir conductivity was not much depressed by the presence of the polymer gel a nd it was of ohmic nature. Below -40 to -30 degrees C, the behaviour of a h igh tg delta dielectric was observed and the conductivity decreased rapidly . (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
