Abstract
The quantum measurement problem and various unsuccessful attempts to resolv e it are reviewed. A suggestion by Diosi and Penrose for the half-life of f ire quantum superposition? of two Newtonian gravitational fields is general ised to no arbitrary quantum superposition of relativistic, but weak, gravi tational fields. The nature of the "collapse" process of rite,wave function is examined.
