Ip. Denisova et al., The investigation of the model of gravitational repulsion in Einstein's general theory of relativity, GEN RELAT G, 31(6), 1999, pp. 821-835
The gravitational field of a static, spherically symmetric source of mass M
and scalar charge q is considered. It is shown that the metric expression
for this source is considerably simplified in two limiting cases: a) for M-
2 >> 4 pi q(2)/G, that is when the mass of the source is the main contribut
or in the gravitational field; b) for q(2) >> M(2)G/4 pi, when the energy-m
omentum tensor of the static, spherically symmetric scalar field is the mai
n contributor in the gravitational field. In the limiting case q(2) >> M(2)
G/4 pi, the geodesics of the massive and massless particles are studied. It
is shown that gravitational forces of repulsion act on a particle moving n
on-radially in this field. As a result, voids should be created in the regi
on surrounding such sources in the Universe. Moreover, the stars with consi
derable scalar charge q(2) >> M(2)G/4 pi will act not as convex gravitation
al lenses as in the case when q(2) << M(2)G/4 pi, but as concave gravitatio
nal lenses for the electromagnetic rays of large impact parameter.
