Results of active electromagnetic monitoring may be used to indirectly watc
h an earthquake source by studying the temporal dynamics of the resistivity
of part of a geologic body which has a high integral stresssensitivity to
geodynamic processes. The solution to the inverse problem of electromagneti
c sounding permitted elaboration of algorithms of transformations independe
nt of measurement errors. These algorithms are intended for converting data
of active electromagnetic monitoring to a diagram of the geoelectric state
of a medium at different points of the space and for comparison of the dia
gram dynamics with seismic events. Data of monitoring of the stationary ele
ctric field on the Baikal prediction test ground are presented.
