Abstract
A wattmeter standard, based on digital sampling, has been designed and eval uated for the audio frequency range. The wattmeter is based on two commerci ally available sampling digital voltmeters (DVM'S). The power spectrum is c alculated with discrete Fourier transform (DFT) analysis. High accuracy is achieved by phase locking and equal-spaced simultaneous sampling.
