Polycrystalline samples of HoRuGe and ErRuGe were investigated by means of
neutron diffraction measurements. Both samples crystallize in the orthorhom
bic TiNiSi-type structure. At low temperatures the rare earth magnetic mome
nts form a noncollinear ferromagnetic FxCz structure in the case of HoRuGe
