Abstract
Amorphous Fe-Sn-B ahoy deposits have been first and successfully prepared b y reducing iron and tin salts with KBH, in an aqueous solution. It was foun d that the deposits show an amorphous structure when the boron content rang es from 12.1 to 27.0 at.%. A two-step process of crystallization was observ ed for the amorphous alloys.
