Abstract
We report a 52-year-old woman scheduled for laparotomy with combined epidur al-general anesthesia who experienced abnormal responses to local anestheti c injections administered via the epidural catheter. The catheter subsequen tly was found to be in the subdural space. A review of the literature is pr ovided. (C) 1999 by Elsevier Science Inc.
