Testicular plasmacytoma: Appearance on gray-scale and power Doppler sonography

A case of testicular plasmacytoma, a very rare neoplasm, is presented. The gray-scale and power Doppler sonographic findings are illustrated. The lesi on appeared as a hypoechoic, intratesticular mass that was markedly hyperva scular. When marked hypervascularity is present in a testicular mass in a p atient unlikely to have orchitis on clinical grounds, plasmacytoma should b e considered in the differential diagnosis.
