Abstract
Pleomorphic hyalinized angiectatic tumor of soft parts is a recently descri bed neoplasm that most commonly affects the lower extremities. It is locall y aggressive but has not been known to metastasize. This article presents a case of a softball-sized tumor on the dorsum of the foot that was identifi ed as pleomorphic hyalinized angiectatic tumor of soft parts. Previously, i t would have been misdiagnosed and treated as either a neurilemoma or a mal ignant fibrous histiocytoma.
