Abstract
Cyclic sulfamidates function as excellent precursors to a variety of unnatu ral alpha,alpha-disubstituted amino acid derivatives by ring opening with a suitable nucleophile. Addition of various nucleophiles to a sulfamidate de rived from 2-methylserine is described.
