The B-J Collaboration experiments discovered high transverse momenta in had
ronic interactions, through cosmic ray events. Among then, mean transverse
moments < P-Th > of the order of 1 GeV/c events were found and such events
mere nicknamed Centauro events. As the high transverse moments are of hadro
nic particles, naturally this is connected with the criteria of identificat
ion of secondaries. To have more confidence on the abnormal features of Cen
tauro events, we used the Kolmogorov-Smirnov non parametric test, aiming to
show the discrepancy with normal events.
