Abstract
The zero recoil limit of the B --> Dlv form factors is calculated on the la ttice, which provides a model-independent determination of \ V-cb\. Conside ring a ratio of form factors, in which the bulk of statistical and systemat ic errors cancel, we obtain a precise result both for h(+)(1) and for h(-)( 1).
