Abstract
We study QCD in 2 dimensions using the improved lattice fermionic Hamiltoni an proposed by Luo, Chen, Xu and Jiang. The vector mass and the chiral cond ensate are computed for various SU(Nc) gauge groups. We do observe consider able improvement in comparison with the Wilson quark case.
