Abstract
An experimental method is presented for the determination of the indiv idual mass transfer coefficient at solid dissolution and of the solid dissolution rate. This method assumes that dissolution takes place at the particle level, the particle falling in a stationary liquid. The m ethod is applied to the dissolution of urea particles in water and in aqueous urea solutions.
