Abstract
Liquid-crystalline cationic complexes of lanthanides with azomethines conta ining the alkyl sulfate anion as the counterion were synthesized. The tempe ratures of existence of the mesophase of the complexes with the alkyl sulfa te anion were by 80-100 degrees C lower than those of similar complexes wit h the Cl- and NO3- counterions.
