Analytical solutions of three-dimensional convection-dispersion problems with time dependent coefficients

The paper presents analytical solutions for 30 boundary value problems with time dependent parameters. Generally the problems considered describe diff usion. and transport phenomena, but chemical reactions and other processes possibly accompanying the dispersion are also taken into account. The solut ions are presented Sor 30 2D, and 1D flour domains with specific boundary c onditions. In addition a relationship, expressing the time evolution of the longitudinal dispersion coefficient and a method of analyzing its asymptot ic behaviour at large time are deduced. The analytical results are used to interpret experimental breakthrough curves obtained from a natural gradient tracer experiment in an, aquifer. Mse (1991): 35E05, 76R50, 76S05.
