Abstract
The compound (PhCH2)(3)SnS2CNC5H10 is prepared by the reaction of tribenzyl tin chloride with sodium dithiopiperidyl carboxylate. Its crystal structure has been determined by X-ray crystallography, it crystallizes in the tricl inic system, space group P (1) over bar with a=10.271(2) Angstrom, b=11.131 (2) Angstrom, c=12.096(2) Angstrom, alpha = 76.56(3)degrees, beta = 81.09(3 ) degrees, gamma = 89.81(3)degrees V = 1328(1) Angstrom(3), and Z = 2.
