Abstract
In this paper we describe and demonstrate a new generation of all-optical d evices (Demultiplexer, Routing switch and Clock extractor) based on a recen tly developed Terahertz Optical Asymmetric Demultiplexer (TOAD). These devi ces are capable of ultrafast all-optical operation and can be used in the f uture terabit optical networks.
