Abstract
Belonia uncinata P. M. McCarthy & Kantvilas, described from Tasmania, is re ported as new to southern Argentina, where it occurs in Nothofagus dombeyi forests. The species is characterized by its unusually uncinate, filiform, and transversally septate ascospores.
